Staples Promotional Products Remote Account Development Manager

What you’ll be doing:
Manage and develop relationships with large groups of individual customers within key accounts (example - John Deere dealers within the John Deere account). ADM will be responsible for driving profitable sales by utilizing outbound marketing to promote Staples Promotional Product’s program, Special Order, and Incentive & Recognition (I&R) services. Position will direct all aspects of special-order business for their assigned customers. The ADM will work closely with and take direction from the Account Manager, Regional Sales Director and internal teams in the management and execution of the account’s strategies. Account Development Manager will maintain an ongoing relationship with these customers and will look to increase SPP’s market share within the selected accounts. Due to the size of the individual customers the relationship will primarily be through phone, virtual meetings, email, and direct marketing strategies.
Starting Salary: $50,000 minimum, based on experience

- 2+ years of successful experience in a sales, customer service or a sales support position
- Strong phone presence
- Strong ability to develop and deliver presentations
- Consultative selling, solutions selling, insight selling, negotiation and advanced client management skills via effective phone presence and virtual selling
