The City of Goshen Arkansas is currently accepting resumes for the position of a Part-Time City Maintenance & Street Department

This position is for you if you are above the age of 18, have a valid driver’s license, and are looking to join a team and community that values the work you do. The final candidate will enjoy maintaining our parks, streets, and the City’s infrastructure.

As a part-time City Maintenance & Street Department employee for the City of Goshen, you will be responsible for operating the City Tractors (one of which is a side arm brush-hog tractor), the City’s one ton dump truck, mowers, motorized equipment, as well as various other pieces of equipment and implements. This employee may be asked to perform manual tasks in the maintenance, construction, and repair of city streets, and right-of-way. During inclement weather the employee may be asked to assist in plowing, spreading salt, removal of downed trees/limbs, or other emergency situations.

Preference will be given to Goshen residents but all applicants will be considered.

Compensation: $17.50/hour.

Benefits: No benefits offered for this part-time position.

Schedule: 20 hours per week, flexible scheduling with the Street Superintendent and City Mayor.

Requirements: At least 18 in age, a valid driver’s license, High School graduate, applicants must be able to pass a background check.
