Welcome to Tennessee CDL School Inc. we are a community-driven school with a focus to get students prepared for the open road. Empowering students with the knowledge and support to become the next generational truck drivers.

We are looking for someone to join the team, who would encourage teamwork, keep files organized, and manages one's own time and the time of others.

Handle all front desk related activities includes:

  • Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Counsel clients regarding educational or vocational issues.
  • Counsel clients regarding personal issues.
  • Evaluate characteristics of individuals to determine needs or eligibility.
  • Write reports or evaluations.
  • Complete documentation required by programs or regulations.
  • Refer individuals to educational or work programs.
  • Schedule prospective students in Google Calendar.
  • Update student notes in the CRM.
  • Take payments.
  • Explain different payment options.

Assist the Office Manager in ensuring all documents for audit folders are completed

  • Facilitate needed updates to student files
  • Enforce rules or policies governing student behavior.
  • Promote educational institutions or programs.
  • Respond to student and company recruiters questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Office Manager or Director as needed
  • Edit documents.
  • Assist students with job placement
  • Schedule students start date
  • Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the office
  • Helping complete any special projects as needed
  • Other duties and responsibilities based on facility needs

Work activities include:

  • Developing and Building Teams — Encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Updating and Using Relevant Knowledge — Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
  • Scheduling Work and Activities — Scheduling events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others.
  • Processing Information — Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.
  • Evaluating Information to Determine Compliance with Standards — Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
  • Providing Consultation and Advice to Others — Providing guidance and expert advice to management or other groups on technical, systems-, or process-related topics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Madison, TN: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Office experience: 1 year (Preferred)
