Job description

Responsibilities:

• Guide clients in their journey towards recovery from addiction
• Maintain quarterly treatment plans, refer clients to outside programs as appropriate, and assist the client with navigating their course to recovery
• Provide group facilitation within an outpatient program setting
• Document the findings of evaluations and progress in clients medical record
• Provide comprehensive mental health screenings and initial assessments to medically-referred and other clients
• Provide short-term and long-term, structured, evidence-based psychotherapy as part of an appropriate treatment plan
• Administer and interpret tests and measures of psychosocial functioning, social work advocacy, case management, counseling, consultation, research, administration and management and teaching
• Develop and implement an appropriate assessment-based treatment plan for each client
• Provide crisis intervention as needed

Requirements:

• Must be a licensed LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC in NY
• Must have experience with substance abuse counseling
• Demonstrated expertise in recovery-oriented, evidenced-based practice
