Miami Lakes Athletic Club is a 48,000 sq. ft. facility that offers a variety of exercise and workout equipment suitable for any level of athleticism. Miami Lakes Athletic Club is known for offering a variety of youth programs in a family-oriented atmosphere in both indoor and outdoor setting. The programs we offer encourages our kids to learn, grow, play, and have fun as they develop their abilities while participating in a well-organized and supervised group. Here at Miami Lakes Athletic Club, we pride ourselves in having year-round programs which allows participants to stay active and involved. Youth sports offers opportunities to play in leagues throughout the year.
We are looking for energetic Summer Camp Lifeguard who enjoy working with children that is willing to maintain surveillance and enforces pool regulations to ensure and secure the safety of program participants. The lifeguard is responsible for lifeguarding at the hotel pool, which may include having hotel guests in the pool while our participants are swimming.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor participants activities in and near the water.
- Enforces safety rules and regulations and educates participants when needed.
- Recognize and provide quick response to any, and all emergencies including rescue, First Aid and CPR
- Conduct a safety walkthrough of the pool area prior to the start or the camp swim time.
QUALIFICATIONS
- May be 18 years old
- Must possess a valid American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification & CPR Certification.
- All required certifications, whether possessed at time of application or obtained after appointment, must be kept current to continue employment in this class.
POSITIONS TYPE/ EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
- Seasonal Part-Time Position
- 9:30 am -3:00 pm (Schedule varies due to pool availability camp will swim twice a week)
- Camp Dates : June 11, 2023 – August 11, 2023
