Duties/Responsibilities- Superintendent Assistant:
- Perform a final walk-through with the customer and secure a signed Certificate of Completion and Certificate of Satisfaction from the customer.
- Conduct pre-construction meetings with customers.
- Set expectations and provide project updates (daily narrative) to customers and subcontractors.
- Schedule all subcontractors and material suppliers
- Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work.
- Document all project activities in the job book.
- Maintain quality standards through site inspections.
- Provide evaluation and rating of all vendors and subcontractors.
- Coordinate inspections with local jurisdiction.
- Identify areas outside of the contracted scope of work.
- Collaborates with employees concerning work orders, prints, and sketches to understand the structure that needs to be built or repaired.
- Estimates equipment, tools, and material requirements for each job.
- Builds dismantle, and repairs structures, walls, roofs, glass, and siding as assigned.
- Operates all necessary tools to complete a job.
- Prepares and dismantles scaffolding as needed.
- Ensures tools and equipment are properly cleaned, stored, and maintained for optimum performance and safety.
- Perform cabinet instillation and flooring. laminate, vinyl, carpet, and tile.
- Installs foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials.
- Fits and installs window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, and interior and exterior trim using a carpenter’s level, plumb bob, and laser levels.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing,
- Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights.
- Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings)
- Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects.
- Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat
