The Supervisor, Accounts Payable/Receivable will be member of Apache’s Revenue and Cash Application team reporting to the Revenue Accounting Manager. This role will be primarily responsible for the following:

Supervise day-to-day operations of Cash Specialist team, ensuring the that the team is adhering to corporate and department policies and procedures.
Facilitate and execute the timely and accurate posting of daily cash receipts for Revenue and Marketing Accounting groups.
Maintain Cash master files and cross references.
Drive the preparation and delivery of individual and group training relating to the cash application process.
Identify ways to implement process improvements related to Cash Application tasks.
Contact remitters for missing check detail and discrepancies.
Review and approve intercompany journal entries.
Participate in system testing and troubleshooting.
Prepare monthly balance sheet recons.
Prepare periodic metrics for management.
Back-up for members on the team
Work on special projects as requested by management.
Interface with multiple groups and individuals, both internal and external to Apache Corporation. Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or other relevant discipline preferred.
5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
Experience working in high volume settings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Supervisory or experience leading teams.
Strong Analytical and accounting skills.
Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal) with ability to translate information into an organized and presentable manner.
Knowledge and experience with SAP/PRA preferred. Competencies
