System Engineer Testing Technology

- Troubleshooting and support current test equipment at BNA by evaluating test results, applying measurement techniques and utilizing test equipment software for equipment development.
- Continuous communication with the end users for the test equipment utilized for the Door business validation teams to identify improvement areas.
- Participation in the Testing Technology global rounds to share and gain knowledge in standards and existing solutions worldwide.
- Commissioning and deployment of testing equipment from other Testing Technology teams
- Generate equipment specifications applying testing technology standards.
- Communicate with local suppliers for locally sourced test equipment to ensure the compliance and functionality of the equipment.
- Generate effort and budget estimations for tasks completion.
Your Profile
- Electrical Engineer, Computer science, Mechactronics engineer of similar
- 3-5 years of experience
- Test equipment development and/or maintenance duties experience
- Schematic and circuit diagram interpretation (must have)
- PLC and/or test equipment development software (Codesys, e!cockpit and/or LabView a big plus)
- Understanding of DC motors and control techniques.
- Understanding of signal conditioning, measurement, and data acquisition techniques
- LIN/CAN communication protocols
- Critical thinking and problem-solving techniques, e.g. A-B comparison, Cause-Effect, etc.
- Resources and timeline planning skills.
