Scope of Responsibilities: Support company objectives by maintaining a secure server infrastructure consisting of physical servers, virtualized servers in a vmware environment, and servers in a cloud-based environment.
Responsibilities:
Job Duties:
- Design, build & maintain a multi-data center server farm environment.
- Build, harden, patch, and maintain Microsoft windows servers.
- Support of Microsoft Active Directory hybrid environment.
- Support of Microsoft email systems (Office 365 & on-premise Exchange).
- Strong vmware experience.
- Strong security experience & principals.
- Support regulatory compliance objectives (HIPAA & PCI).
- Handle escalated tickets for Microsoft issues, servers, and other systems issues.
- Work with and manage vendors to ensure the prompt delivery of services, maintain service level agreements, and manage costs and expectations.
- Needs to be able to work a flexible schedule (evenings, night work, etc.).
- Will be part of an on-call support rotation.
- Other various duties as required.
- Familiarity with Linux distributions is a plus but not a requirement.
Education:
Associates degree or equivalent real-world experience.
Experience:
Two to five years working with networks, servers and communications technologies is preferred. This is not an entry level position.- Must possess knowledge of security concepts applicable to this role and function.
