Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience program managing large-scale projects and system integrations in a software engineering domain.
- 5 years of experience in project management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience leading and supporting products, technologies, and systems work within companies that work directly with federal, state, or local government institutions.
- Experience with the US public sector or federal cloud market, large-scale data availability and resilience, gaining regulatory compliance for a product or platform, working in the regulatory compliance field, or procurement/management of government contracts.
- Experience achieving goals in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively work in ambiguity and support others in doing the same.
- Excellent analysis, problem-solving, discussing agreements, and organizational skills.

In this role, you will coordinate and contribute to the planning, management, and reporting of multiple transformational and cross-functional initiatives. You will work in close partnership with multiple stakeholders across Google Public Sector (GPS), Google systems, and product teams to ensure appropriate end-to-end systems and processes are built and supported to enable effective GPS operations, and future growth in a highly regulated and compliance driven industry.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $208,000-$306,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Partner with executives and leaders cross-functionally within GPS and across Google to define and refine strategic goals, priorities, and roadmaps for GPS systems.
- Work in concert with multiple product teams and GPS stakeholders to define and prioritize requirements, plans, and timelines, and manage execution of the integrated program plan for GPS systems needs.
- Anticipate, manage, and mitigate strategic and tactical risks and issues across the program.
- Define, launch, and sustain a regular reporting cadence across multiple stakeholders and organizations.
- Drive project delivery, challenge proposals, and build consensus.
