Accountant / Enrolled Agent / CPA needed - Energetic and Motivated looking to grow

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with expertise in filing both personal and business taxes. T

Our modern firm is currently seeking ​an energetic, highly skilled and detail oriented Accountant to work with our client roster of online entrepreneurs.

A self starter who is open to new challenges will thrive here. This new team member will be interested in a growing role with a boutique Accounting firm as they continue to expand rapidly. The ideal candidate must possess knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and procedures, as well as demonstrate proficiency in QuickBooks, payroll management, and financial reporting, and calculate quarterly taxes.

Additionally, the candidate should either be an Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or have plans to pursue one of these certifications.

The candidate will be comfortable interfacing with clients 1 on 1. You will have the opportunity to work side by side with a seasoned CPA & CFP.

This is a remote roll but can also be a hybrid situation depending on proximity to our Office.

Focus:

Tax Preparation and Compliance:

• Prepare and file accurate and timely personal and business tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Conduct thorough tax research to identify potential deductions, credits, and exemptions, maximizing tax benefits for clients.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze financial data and provide insights to clients regarding their financial performance.
• Assist clients in budgeting and financial forecasting, identifying areas for cost savings and revenue growth.
• Prepare financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets.
• Interpret financial data and present findings to clients in a clear and concise manner.

Payroll Administration:

• Process and manage payroll for clients, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, taxes, and deductions.

QuickBooks Management:

• Utilize advanced features of QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records for clients.

Requirements:

• Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, tax preparation, and payroll management.
• Either an Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required or plans to pursue one.
• Knows how to use CRM or is open to learning quickly
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong organizational skills
• Self Starter

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
