Job description
PenBay Technology Group seeks qualified candidates for the position of Technical Lead / Scrum Master. The successful candidate will
- Leading all software design, development, testing and integration activities.
- Ensure the design, development and testing of the RMS is technically sound and meets industry and government best practices.
- Assist when necessary with the design, coding, configuration, and integration of the system.
- Assist other technical staff with problem resolution and bug fixes.
- The Technical Lead shall also perform Scrum Master responsibilities which includes, but is not limited to coordinating the Agile process, fostering communication, providing Agile coaching, removing roadblocks, and backlog management.
- Monitor and resolve any issues that arise throughout the development and is responsible to ensure the team is correctly following the principles that govern Agile.
- Facilitate meetings including, but not limited to, daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives, Sprint Planning Reviews, and Sprint Reviews & Demos.
- Prepare and facilitate all work sessions and assure the team is fully functional and productive.
The Technical Lead/Scrum Master shall possess at a minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 8 years of software development experience w/ Java Stack
- 3 years of experience leading a software development team
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, etc.)
- Certified Agilist (SAFe, etc.)
- Experience successfully developing and integrating software applications of
similar size and scope
- Demonstrated experience implementing SecDevOps
- Demonstrated ability to manage, coordinate, and facilitate a team’s effort in
designing, developing, testing, configuring, integrating, and maintaining a
software application
- Knowledge of industry and Government best practices
- Ability to create a highly collaborative team environment
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage, plan, structure, and organize daily meetings
and project deliverables
- Ability to coach and motivate a diverse team
- Be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination
