Title: Technical Product Manager
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6 month contract (potential extension)

Job Description:
We are seeking a Technical Product Manager with excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to guide the execution of our product vision. You will work across multiple technology teams to ensure coordination and collaboration in design, development and testing of innovative solutions. As a technical product leader, you will be working with architects, senior developers, senior quality engineers and DevOps engineers to contribute to the design and implementation of our next generation software platform, built on state-of-the art technologies, that will support multiple integrated applications executing a wide range of business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership driving technology decisions, leading technical feasibility discussions, identifying and managing technical risks, and defining high-level architecture directions working with architects and senior developers.
• Serve as primary liaison between Product Management and Development to research and define technical requirements from business requirements.
• Work with developers to translate technical findings from proof of concepts into architecture decisions and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Management in the definition of product requirements including user stories, features, user acceptance criteria, etc.
• Lead product backlog assessment, backlog grooming, release planning and iteration planning.
• Support Development and QA teams clarifying technical requirements, assessing feature implementation risks, researching technical solutions, prioritizing roadmap deliverables.
• Coordinate and foster team collaboration to analyze cross-platform issues and to implement holistic solutions requiring synergies across people, processes, and technologies.

Skillset / Experience:

• Proficient knowledge of various technologies including .NET, Angular, React, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Redis, and Power BI.
• Familiarity with Docker containerization, Kubernetes, Service Mesh, API Gateway, and Proxy Server.
• Proven experience in communicating with business users and product managers to collect requirements, describe software product features.
• Proven experience collaborating with Product Management to deliver technical requirements from user requirements and business scenarios.
• Proven experience managing product backlogs, defining product roadmap, and creating release plans.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices, Scrum, Kanban, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Project.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
