Technical Sales Manager-Direct Hire-Sign on bonus
Job description
We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager for the Southeast!
You will be traveling all over Florida, Georgia, and Alabama!!!
The position offers full benefits including: PTO, Medical, Dental, 401K (Matching), company card, travel, hotels and meals are reimbursable, IRS mileage plus a gas card!
Base Salary is between $100,000 - $120,000 (Based on experience)
Sign-on bonus depends on experience
This is an outside sales position for biopharma, pharmaceutical, aerospace, oil and gas, military/Defense industry.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
- Search for new customers and develop long-term relationships.
- Use Technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support to clients.
- Collaborate with Inside Sales Team and Estimator to identify and track all opportunities in the territory.
- Able to travel and stay overnight as required for customer visits, job walks, trade shows, industry events, etc.
Qualifications:
- Must have a 4-year degree, preferably in business or technical field.
- Have a successful and quantifiable track record (6-10 years) in a quota-driven sales and business development capacity.
- Demonstrate a knack for prospecting and selling technical services.
- Familiarity with the Pharmaceutical or Water Systems industries is preferred.
- Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. and CRM database preferred.
- Travel: Must be willing and able to travel overnight by land and/or air up to 60% of the time
