Dimensional Insight is looking for an individual to join our Virtual Technical Support Team. Our team works from home and meets bi-weekly for lunches/meetings.

Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

Responsible for providing product support to customers who are diagnosing and troubleshooting moderate to complex DI software problems.

Principal Duties:

1. Provide support via email, phone and web, to persons installing, configuring, and running Dimensional Insight, Inc (DII) products.

2. Supports (DII) pre-sales activity nationally. Providing post sales support to DII’s nationwide customer base, including VAR’s and OEM’s

3. Provides training and consulting support to DII’s nationwide customer base, including VAR’s and OEM’s.

4. Provide internal technical support (hardware & software to the DII community)

Special Skills:

Recent experience in a technical support capacity on various platforms. Experience desirable with SQL/relational database concepts and knowledge of several RDBMS including but not limited to DB2, Informix, MS SQLServer, Oracle and Sybase. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, effective problem solving skills.

Education/Experience:

BS degree in CS, IT, IS, or CIS or equivalent experience and a minimum of 4 years of industry experience. Linux experience desired.

Personal Skills:

Works well in a team environment. Possesses excellent analytical skills and problem solving techniques. Is dependable, flexible and resourceful. Self-starter who needs only minimal supervision. Strong customer service attitude.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
