Position Description

Lindsay Corporation is hiring a new Technician – Surface Mount. This position provides the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art automation technology! This position will load and unload surface mount feeders, operate and troubleshoot surface mount production equipment. This position will report to the Production Supervisor.

Position Details

This is a full-time position located at our newly remodeled manufacturing facility located in Olathe, KS. This is a 1st shift position. Hours are Monday thru Thursday 6:00am to 3:30pm. Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm. Every-other-Friday off. Occasional extension of typical hours may be necessary, dependent upon business needs. Pay rate starts at $18.00/hr. Pay increase potential after 90-days. Eligible for quarterly production bonus!

Duties & Responsibilities

• Load and unload surface mount feeders
• Verify feeder location setup
• Operate surface mount production equipment
• Follow documented visual aids and be detail oriented
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Responsible for good housekeeping and safety practices in the work area
• Perform designated work assignments and assist fellow employees as necessary
• Ability to identify and follow quality standards
• Regular and predictable attendance is required
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience with Juki SMT equipment is helpful, but not required
• High school diploma, or equivalent, required
• Must be proficient in writing, reading, and speaking the English language

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to move and manipulate assemblies up to 10 pounds
• Must be able to operate various hand tools
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
