Summary
Seeking candidates who are interested in working in a dynamic environment with an innovative program that supports social emotional learning using creative nontraditional practices. The qualified candidate will participate in weekly Telling It sessions, learn developmentally appropriate skills for site facilitation with the goal of planning and lead program sessions.

Responsibilities*
- Attend training sessions with Program Director on applying the expressive arts through a lens that is healing centered, strengths aware and culturally respectful
- Supervise a team of staff, college interns and volunteers
- Maintain a collaborative relationship with community partners
- Assist the Program Director and others in producing an annual anthology highlighting the writing and artwork of the youth
Required Qualifications*
- Attend monthly staff meetings
- Experience in leadership roles
- Be able to work effectively across race, ethnicity, socioeconomic background, sexual orientation, gender identity and ability
- Ability-based competencies that include: communicating and problem-solving; displaying reliability and accountability; maintaining confidentiality; being attentive to detail; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships; and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Information
Status: Part-time, no benefits
Hours: Up to 8 hours per week. Hours will vary depending on candidate’s availability.
Location: Washtenaw County, MI
Direct Supervisor: Program Director
Compensation: Range $17-20 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
