Responsibilities:
  • The candidate will conduct, participate, or provide witness in tactical system ship-based and land-based test and evaluation, certification, and training events to be held at Government or Non-Government venues.
  • The candidate will review Test Plans and Test Procedures and provide feedback
  • The candidate will support Test Report reviews and provide input for Test Readiness Reviews
  • The candidate will support Technical Working Group meetings and other meetings sponsored by the customer.
  • The candidate, in cooperation with the Government Test Lead, will maintain a test activity schedule. This schedule will include all test events by test suite, off-site work or training events, and desktop task that test personnel support and provide Test Debriefs and daily SITREP (daily test summary report).
  • The candidate will provide tactical system and simulator operations for the Vertical Launch System developmental suites to support VLS software product element testing and collect Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) required to troubleshoot Fleet reported or tactical system development issues, and for laboratory demonstrations
  • The candidate will assist with VLS equipment inventory tracking

**Frequent Travel to Baltimore and New Jersey. Trips are usually 2 days to a week long, approximately 2 times per month.** Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to create test plans and test procedures in accordance with DoD policies and instructions that trace to program requirements.
  • Experience conducting tests, and demos, requiring setup and operation of tactical and simulation equipment.
  • Experience documenting and working to resolve all problems and reporting progress on problem resolution to management.
  • Experience in analyzing test data, recommending quality improvements and creating test reports.
  • Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline or three (3) years of experience in the areas of test planning, coordination, execution, and documentation in a Navy land-based test laboratory or field environment.
