Responsibilities:
This position must build, manage, and maintain relationships to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. This position requires effective communication with Teammates, leaders, clients, and vendors. This position operates in a strong team-based environment where collaboration is critical for fulfilling the needs of the business and relies heavily on individual execution and delivery.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Delivers program content for HSS nationally and across modalities (webinar, instructor-led, podcast, video, etc.).
- Supports the use of the Learning Management System (LMS) as an enterprise system of record for Leadership Development program completion and program schedules.
- Initiates communications, scheduling, and logistics.
- Supports program projects to include stakeholder engagement, communications, and measurement of impact.
- Plans, produces, updates, and disseminates communication regarding programs.
- Ensures accurate and efficient documentation of programs.
- Partners with third party vendors to coordinate programs as needed.
- Identifies system or process improvements that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Anticipates emerging organizational needs and keeps abreast of best practices.
- Continually assesses and evaluates the relevancy and accuracy of curricula, the impact and effectiveness of programs, and works with the RCT team to implement improvements.
- Leverages appropriate modalities to develop content for programs to include Webinar, eLearning, Instructor-Led, Train-the-Trainer, Hands-on Training, etc.
- Identifies appropriate and scalable modalities for content delivery.
- Develops full content packages for developmental programs to include content, audio-visual aids, handbooks, facilitator guides, participant resources, written or online documentation, and course feedback surveys.
- Partners with subject matter experts and vendors as needed to enhance content and increase impact.
- Partners with the LMD team to curate content and promote learner engagement.
- Revises, updates, and modifies existing curriculum and programs.
- Develops and facilitates other training and learning initiatives, as required.
- Maintains industry knowledge and regularly shares learning with RCT team
- Knowledge and practical experience with projects related to the Hospital Preparedness Program, The Joint Commission, and/or the National Incident Management System (required)
- Is a good steward of HSS resources and manage travel and expenses within company guidelines
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- Becomes certified in new assessments and/or new training workshops as required.
- Identifies and recommends innovative learning and development strategies to support individual and organizational goals.
- Maintains an in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of the field and learning technologies.
- Demonstrates flexibility and can effectively manage changes in project scope, timelines, and priorities.
- Ability to exercise judgment, make decisions, establish professional contacts, and organize time with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on group projects.
- Other duties at the direction of the manager.
- Performs other job-related duties as required.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field AND a minimum of five (5) years of related program development, facilitation experience, or any education and experience to perform the job.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Obtain and maintain valid Driver’s License and meet company driving standards.
- Completion of Incident Command System (ICS) training (FEMA IS-100/100.HC, IS-200, IS-700.a. and IS-800.b) or their equivalent within six months of hire
- Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) within one-year of hire
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
- Federal, State and Local laws, statutes, and regulation relating to the training and development field.
- Policies, practices and procedures of relevant training and development programs.
- Principles and practices of training and development methods and techniques.
- Proficient in leveraging a Learning Management System to curate content and track program completion.
- Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, to include Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Basic analytical skills that allow for general data gathering and reporting on findings.
- Considerable ability to identify training needs and plan, organize, and coordinate training programs to meet those needs.
- Excellent presentation and platform skills and up to date knowledge of contemporary training modalities.
- Facilitating group conversations where opposing viewpoints may be presented.
- Prioritizing and managing multiple stakeholders and tasks in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Evaluates, identifies development opportunities, and provide effective coaching.
- Clear understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design, and principles of effective communication.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
This is a full-time position. Work hours will vary depending on client schedules, project deadlines, and the needs of the company. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Environment may be fast paced and stressful.

Other times, they may spend approximately 75% of the time sitting and will walk or sit 25% of the time. They use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; occasionally the employee will stoop, kneel, or crouch.
