Due to continued growth within our Transaction Tax practice, we are looking to add a Senior Associate to our team with the flexibility to sit throughout our footprint, or potentially remote for the right resource. If you have experience reviewing tax returns, assessing state tax filing requirements and assessing entity tax structures and you’d be interested in further developing these skills while working in a high growth practice, we’d like to speak with you about an opportunity to solve problems and identify issues and opportunities for our PE clients.

As a Tax Senior Associate, you will:

• Advise Private Equity Clients on a full spectrum of tax services including planning, research, compliance, structuring and due diligence activities for mergers and acquisitions
• Analyze historic tax risks and opportunities of acquisition targets for Private Equity and strategic purchasers
• Analyze tax positions of numerous entity types including consolidated returns, S Corps., LLCs, partnerships and LLPs
• Evaluate complex scenarios and documenting in written memorandum and reports for presentation to Private Equity clients

What you bring to the role:

You should be a self-starter with a desire to use your creativity to solve complex problems for clients. Strong prioritization, organization and communication skills are needed, along with the desire to support the development of junior staff. Realistically, the following are also needed:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field; Masters in Accounting or MBA preferred
• 2+ years of public accounting experience with demonstrated expertise in tax planning and compliance
• Licensed CPA or in-progress
