We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Transportation Business Analyst 3 to work out of Washington, DC at the Pentagon.
The Deputy Chief of Naval Operations (DCNO) for Logistics and Readiness (OPNAV N4) plans, defines, and provides logistics and readiness support needed to support the readiness of the operating forces and shore establishment. OPNAV N4L5 serves as the Lifecycle Supply Chain Branch and oversees Navy spares policy/guidance and supply chain integration. N4L5 is responsible for the achievement of Navy financial statement auditability for two business segments: Transportation of Things and Operation and Maintenance, Navy (OMN) - Remainder. The candidate will support OPNAV N4 audit remediation efforts in these segments. The candidate will assist N4L5 with performing analysis, preparing documentation packages for signature, conducting research, generating data calls, preparing briefs, and attending related meetings.
Essential Duties:
- Provide programmatic and integration support for short-term and long-term achievement of Navy financial statement auditability.
- Conduct research and perform analyses related to assigned business segments.
- Generate data calls and prepare briefs for leadership.
- Attend meetings and forums in support of OPNAV N4 audit remediation efforts for assigned business segments; draft and distribute meeting minutes.
- Maintain and manage tasker responsibilities and deadlines including notifying responsible parties of duties and assignments, ensuring the tasker is completed with the expected level of quality and on time.
- Coordinating the release of new or updated OPNAV policy.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of relevant experience
- Prior experience working in military transportation operations.
- Prior commercial or military experience working in supply chain management.
- Knowledge of Navy organizational structure.
- Ability to translate data into meaningful presentations and decision briefs for senior leadership.
- Ability to coordinate and track numerous efforts simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical skills – ability to quickly identify trends, inconsistencies, and information gaps.
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and articulating high-level business capabilities and requirements.
- Ability to meet and exceed expectations and deadlines.
- Experience with DONTRACKER, TMT, or comparable tasker management tool.
Education/ Certification: Bachelors’ degree from an accredited University
Required Clearance: Secret
