Local Truck Driver Class B CDL

Summit Distributing, the local Molson Coors Distributor, is now hiring Delivery Drivers. Drivers are responsible for delivering high quality product efficiently and accurately in the St. Louis, MO metropolitan and surrounding area.

Salary Information: (based on experience and route type)

• Class B Drivers $60,000+ depending on experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-ordered Summit Distributing products within assigned accounts (supermarkets, bars, and convenience stores) in a professional and courteous manner.
• Accurately inventory, inspect, and deliver invoiced product to Summit Distributing's customer base. Rotate stock as required.
• Responsible for executing all invoices, obtaining payment for product when necessary, and all related paperwork.
• Provide great customer service at every opportunity.
• Perform routine inspections on assigned industrial equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor.
• Responsible for performing pre- and post-trip inspections as required by Department of Transportation regulations and Summit policy.
• Comply with company work safe practices and safety standards, Department of Transportation regulations, Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations, and company delivery policies/procedures.
• Keep interior of truck organized and clean.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisors/Management.

• Must possess the appropriate CDL or non-CDL license for the position applied for along with a valid medical card.
• 1+ years driving experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills and customer service focused.
• Self-motivated, detailed-oriented, professional, hard-working individual with the ability to work with limited supervision.
• Must be physically capable of handling and delivering daily manifest consisting of case beer weighing up to 30 lbs and keg beer weighing up to 165 lbs.
• Must be able to reach, pull, twist, bend, and stoop to move cases of beer.
• Must be able to lift/lower 35 lbs. regularly and lift/lower up to 165 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to push/pull up to 250 lbs. regularly using a hand truck/dolly.
• Must be able to work a scheduled 5 contiguous day work week Monday through Saturday with two scheduled contiguous days off each week. Driver will be required to work a 6th work day when necessary while adhering to DOT mandated regulations.
• Must be able to work early mornings (4am-6am start times).
• Must have reliable transportation to and from facility.
• Must be able to pass drug screen/HPE and background check with satisfactory results. MVR must show no license revocation, suspension, DUI/DWI, careless or reckless driving.
