Job description
Utility Packer
Responsible for operating plating equipment.
Duties:
- Load/unload metal on/off plating equipment
- Inspect and clean machine spray nozzles if necessary; Spray machine and pit area with water hose to remove dirt and debris
- Audit material for correct weight, edge, round, square, radius, correct identification, and for any defects
- Mark material with appropriate information and destination
- Operate crane and forklift as needed to move and arrange moving material to ensure uninterrupted flow of production; Operate Upcoiler
Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Prior industrial experience preferred
- Basic Math skills
- Must be able to lift at least fifty (50) pounds
