JOB TITLE:
SQL Report Writer Data Analyst

JOB PURPOSE:
The SQL Report Writer Data Analyst will work with customers to define reporting requirements, develop, and test complex critical-impact reports for all levels of Foundation management and across campus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The SQL Report Writer Data Analyst will independently create reports for critical Foundation and campus goals, leading their completion from start to finish.

Customize Ellucian CRM Advance using Microsoft Dynamics CRM 365 tools, including solutions, entities, fields, forms, relationships, dashboards, Advanced Finds, charts, workflows, SSRS reports, and business rules.

Develop documentation regarding reporting standards.

Work as a team to meet changing project demands, identify training opportunities, and mentor other professionals.

Develop an understanding of the Foundation’s mission, goals, business processes, and strategic direction. Communicate complex and advanced software topics effectively, both verbally and in writing. Investigate and analyze data discrepancies and determine resolutions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience:
2-years work-related experience

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Expertise or familiarity in any of the following areas is not required, but would be a “plus”:

Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 365, including solutions, entities, fields, forms, relationships, dashboards, Advanced Finds, charts, workflows, SSRS reports, and business rules.

Knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

Experience with Ellucian CRM Advance or other Ellucian CRM solutions.

Must have some programming classes or experience in one of the following languages: C#, Python, SQL, C++, or Javascript

Must be proficient with Excel spreadsheets, having fluency in sorting, filtering, formatting, and formulas.

Should be willing to learn new programming languages and technologies as needed.
