Corona Animal Emergency Center a thriving, new and advanced emergency hospital, is searching for an experienced team member to fulfill our Doctor's Assistant position. The Doctor's Assistant role is one of the most vital positions of the hospital. The Doctor's Assistant works one on one with the attending Veterinarian on each case and helps to keep the hospital flow moving throughout the shift. The Doctor's Assistant role consists of the following duties.
- Triaging and admitting patients.
- Obtaining vitals on incoming patients.
- Obtaining a brief history of incoming patients.
- Create medical estimates.
- Discuss treatment plans and estimates with clients.
- Create medical case summaries.
- Fill medication prescriptions.
- Go over discharge instructions and prescription instructions with clients.
Requirements:
-At least one year in the veterinary field is required! This position is not ideal for someone who has little to no knowledge of the veterinary field.

- Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to work a full-time schedule.
