JOB SUMMARY:
Under the general direction of the President/Chief Executive Officer the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives provides strategic and operational leadership for planning, developing, directing and evaluating programs and methodologies. Assists the President and CEO in efforts to integrate Ephraim’s mission and values into the organizational structures and day-to-day operations.
Provides senior leadership for the development and implementation of strategic planning and master facility planning across the entire health care delivery system to produce improved clinical and non-clinical outcomes/results related to service, cost, and outcomes. Serves as a transformational leader to move the Organization towards new levels of excellence. Ensures results within the health system for service excellence, clinical effectiveness, operational excellence, and safety to serve internal and external customer needs. The incumbent is administratively responsible for Anesthesia, Facilities Management/Plant Operations, Marketing, Physician Recruitment, Managed Care Contracts and services provided by Ephraim McDowell Health Resource.
