Job Summary:

We are looking to hire an experienced individual who has both videography and photography skills exclusively for the Dzul Ink Lounge Tattoo Studio brand. The on-site role at Dzul Ink tattoo studio environment involves shooting and editing content to accurately reflect the brand for marketing collateral including advertising campaigns, social media initiatives, digital marketing and event content, to be published on all our social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tiktok, and our official website.

Dzul Ink Lounge is a high-end tattoo and piercing studio located in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle. We are looking to add a strong photographer/videographer to our team; part time/full-time (30-40 hours a week).

We are family-owned and hardworking and we’re looking for a solid individual to join the team for long-term employment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the brand’s primary videographer and photographer for the creation of all marketing, including but not limited to: promotional videos, artist portfolios on website, advertising campaigns, new business and digital media requirements.

• Capture high quality tattoo content capturing fun, brand friendly moments, both candid and staged.

• Capture product content, including but not limited to: tattoos, piercings, jewelry, studio, venue, staff, clothing.

• Responsible for capturing content for advertising campaigns

• Responsible for all photo and video content from start to finish including capturing

and editing content.

• Curate a strong gallery of aspirational images and video content which will be used to reflect

the brand in marketing and press.

• Play a key role in shaping the visual storyline of content touchpoints while maintaining the brand’s digital asset library.

• Assist Dzul team with daily asset management and achieving creative and marketing objectives.

• Use various media including graphics, animations, data visualisation, music and voiceovers to create professional-grade content.

• Coordinate all activities and materials supporting each photo or video shoot

• Work with clearly detailed content briefs provided as well as creating content briefs

• Secure and archive permissions for use of photo images for individuals

• Stay up to date on video and photography trends to ensure we are at the forefront of content.

• Participate in press and marketing meetings

Skills and Personal Characteristics:

• Excellent knowledge of photography/videograhy within the digital domain.

• Excellent technical and photographic skills.

• Display a passion for both photographic and video content and a commitment to holding

editorial integrity.

• Experience with industry standard editing tools and asset management software.

• IT skills especially with computer programs such as Photoshop, Adobe

Lightroom, Photo Mechanic, iMovie, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Premiere Pro CC.

• Great communication and people skills

• Ability to multi-task while showing commitment to detail

• Commitment to deadlines and be open to a set schedule or flexible working hours

• Sound knowledge of the evolving nature of social media

• Demonstrate maturity and professionalism

• Positive attitude

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work well independently and collaborate with team members

• Work well under pressure

• Must have an interest in the tattoo industry

• Must display a desire to grow within the brand and see this as a long term position.

• Must be able to use company’s photo and video equipment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
