Warehouse 1st shift - Direct Hire, Full Benefits, Air Conditioned facility

The Role

We are looking for a motivated individual to pack and ship our finished products paying attention to customer specifications, create shipment documents via online shipping systems, contact freight carriers, receive shipments, distribute materials to stock or production areas, record inventory entries into ERP system, operate fork lift, pallet jack and dock leveler as well as other warehouse duties.

Starting pay of at least $18 up to $20/hour. You will also earn a monthly bonus up to $300.00.

Successful candidates will have:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum one year experience in a warehouse environment.
• Must have experience using email, internet, web based computer applications and ERP system. (Outlook, Word, Excel, SAP)
• Experience using FedEx and UPS online shipping systems strongly preferred.
• Must be a certified forklift driver or have the ability to become certified.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and have basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Must possess good verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write legibly.

About Us

The Saint-Gobain Abrasives facility in Carol Stream, Illinois manufactures new and improved Superabrasives products used in the aerospace, automotive, construction and electronics industries. Superabrasives use diamond or cubic boron nitride (CBN) grains to resurface, cut, grind or polish materials that are not susceptible to conventional abrasives. Superabrasives come in various forms including wheels, slurries, belts and discs and are used to sharpen cutting tools, shape glass, grind engine parts and slice silicon wafers. Many of SGA’s superabrasives products are custom designed and engineered for specific industrial applications as requested by our customers.
