Reports To: Night Shift Team Leader or Night Shift Warehouse Manager

Supervises: N/A

Basic Function: Warehouse workers build pallets of mixed beverage products, stretch wrap the pallets and load on trailers for delivery using powered equipment such as electric pallet jacks, walkie riders and forklifts. The shift is Monday through Friday, starting at the assigned time and finishes when all orders are completed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Pick orders with accuracy and speed.

· Replenish pick locations as needed.

· Function in a fast-paced environment, as a member of a team and independently.

· Build pallets that travel safely without damage.

· Maintain a clean environment.

· Load delivery trucks and other vehicles.

· Adhere to strict safe working practices and company policies.

Physical requirements:

· Must be able to repetitively lift 15 to 40 pounds and occasionally up to 135 pounds when handling kegs.

· Must be able to bend, lift, carry, climb, stoop and stack product using a forklift or walkie rider.

· Must be able to work in varying temperatures as assignments may involve working in a cooler, in a controlled temperature warehouse or outside.

Position requirements:

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that consistently requires a sense of urgency.

· Ability to repetitively lift, including overhead, 15-40 or more during a 10- to 15-hour day with frequent bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling and sitting.

· Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.

· Have basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Forklift certification is preferred.

· Previous experience with computerized warehousing preferred.

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Blue Ridge Beverage has a zero-tolerance drug policy. Our pre-employment drug screen includes testing for the presence of THC.
