Eastridge Workforce Solutions is looking for a Warehouse Technician for a prestigious solar energy company in California. This is a temporary, on-site installation in Santa Fe Springs. The shift is from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Job Description/Duties:

• Cleaning and organizing the warehouse
• Staging vehicles and jobs with the appropriate materials and equipment
• Taking accurate inventory counts
• Maintaining accurate inventory levels
• Performing various janitorial work inside both the warehouse and office
• Communicate and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure all material inventory is correct for the success of a project.
• Gather, prepare, and stage all materials and equipment for appropriate jobs.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse.
• Ability to successfully navigate the inventory system “NETSUITE.”
• Adhere to all company policies and standards.
• Various other duties and tasks assigned as needed

Requirements:

• At least 1 or more years of warehouse experience working, if it’s with Solar is a plus.
• Must be familiar with solar materials (panels, tile hooks, tilt scales, strut applications, etc.)
• Ability to read plans (blueprints) and use deductive reasoning to create lists of required materials for jobs
• A certified forklift driver is a plus!
• Computer experience a must - having worked with, the "All Orders", inventory system is a big plus
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Some colleges preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
• Ability to work with inventory management
• Ability to respond quickly to changes
• Strong organizational skills
