The
Warranty Analyst is responsible for working with Toyota Motors North America (TMNA) and Southeast Toyota’s (SET) Field Team to administer TMNA’s Factory Warranty Program including claim submission and approval, goodwill review and approval, and Manufacturer Parts Return. The Warranty Analyst will also work with the SET Field Team to coordinate the in-dealership or virtual training, and to identify dealerships and those who need individual training and process improvements.
Assist SET dealership personnel on how to submit Factory Warranty Claims for prompt payment as well as interpretation of Toyota’s Warranty Policies and Procedures- Review dealer receivables schedules to proactively establish where claim input issues may exist and establish corrective actions that need to be taken
- Train and educate dealer personnel on Factory Warranty processes and procedures either virtually or in person
- Review, negotiate and authorize dealership goodwill requests. Review Pending Authorization claims for content quality, approval, and return to dealer when appropriate
- Minimum 3-5 years in-dealership Warranty Administration/Claim Processing experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or comparable experience in automotive warranty or the automotive industry.
- Toyota Repair Experience Preferred
- Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and manage changing priorities
- Customer Service orientation with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to train internal and dealership associates on Warranty Administration
- Ability to travel to conduct in dealership consultations and training
- Exceptional negotiation skills
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
