Our 256,000sf state of the art facility will be launched in Wood Dale, IL Spring 2021. We are currently looking to add a seasoned Welder who embraces teamwork, collaboration, employee development, accelerated growth while having some fun along the way! Specific responsibilities include:
- Weld parts, components, frames and weldments per drawings.
- Read and interpret drawings including symbols, welding symbols, material type, material shape and imperial to weld and fabricate parts, components, frames and weldments.
- Perform basic machining math including fractional / decimal and feet / inches conversion.
- Weld on a broad range of metals and alloys for a wide variety of complex precision assemblies, involving a considerable amount of welding to high strength and pressure requirements.
- Utilize measuring tools as required: tape measure, caliper, machinist square, pro-tractor, o.d. micrometer, etc.
- Grind and polish all sharp edges on work pieces as required.
- Verify weldments conform to drawings and specs and make corrections as required.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years welding experience preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with Lincoln and Miller controls
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day. The employee is frequently required to grasp, handle and feel objects, control and manage tools, and use hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but at times loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
