ABOUT CASCADE:

Cascade Community Healthcare (CCH) has been providing treatment services to Lewis County and surrounding areas for more than 50 years. Our mission is to provide our clients with compassionate and encouraging counseling leading to a renewed sense of hope and the ability to make positive changes and live more satisfying lives. Cascade currently has six treatment locations in Lewis County.


We are looking for a Clinician II to join our WISe team! The WISe Clinician will be responsible for providing intakes and ongoing mental health services. Through a collaborative process with the client, family, and Wraparound team members, the Clinician will provide crisis services as needed and help clients identify their goals, needs, and resources to prepare for engagement in therapy. These services will be provided on an outreach basis, in a variety of community locations, including the client’s home and school.


Starting November 1, 2022 Cascade Community Healthcare will not require the COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment.


WHAT IS WISe?

Wraparound with Intensive Services (WISe) is a program that takes a team approach to help children, youth, and their families with intensive mental health care. Services are available in home and community settings and offers a system of cared based on the individualized need of the child or youth.


SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

This position will normally require that the employee work a non-standard, forty (40) hour week.


PAY SCALE:

$25.00 - $36.42 Hourly, DOE


WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE:

  • Master’s Degree in Social/Behavioral Sciences is required.
  • Must be a Mental Health Professional (MHP), or eligible to be certified as a MHP in WA State.
  • Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor, Associate, or Licensure required.
  • Completion of training in WISe model is required (within 60-days of hire).
  • Completion of CANS training is required (within 60-days of hire).
  • Must be able to pass WA State background check. National background check may be required if have not lived in WA state consecutively the last three years.
  • Demonstrated ability to promoting teamwork and collaboration, quality performance standards, professionalism, and integrity to ensure high quality programs and that services meet and exceed contract agreements.
  • Must be able to represent the agency in a positive and professional manner.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must comply with agency policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to attend sessions in community, program provides services in community, at client homes, at other Cascade facilities by use of personal transportation or use of a Cascade vehicle. Must be legally allowed to drive in State of Washington if driving.
  • Ability to gain access to all types of buildings and residences. Reasonable accommodations may be made.
  • Must maintain current demographic and contact information with the Human Resources office.
  • Must be willing to take the 24-hour WISe crisis on call phone on a rotating basis with other WISe employees.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Provides therapeutic intervention to youth and families. This may include individual therapy, family therapy, psychoeducation, and facilitation of therapeutic groups.
  • Orients and educates clients and their families by meeting them in and out of the office; explains the role of the WISe clinician; develops the recovery plan; assists clients in accessing crisis services when needed, including acute hospitalization when necessary.
  • Participates in WISe Child & Family Team Meetings for each client, contributing to the development of the Cross-System Care Plan and Team Safety Plan.
  • Attends meetings related to the client’s involvement in other child-serving systems, including school, juvenile justice, child welfare, primary care, or other related systems, and serves as an advocate for the youth in these meetings.
  • Forms effective working relationships with family members and all community providers, balancing differences in culture, agendas and priorities, and expectations. Maintains professional partnerships with all community providers.
  • Performs real world problem solving with the client, which will often require the clinician to work in the community to engage clients in services. This may include but is not limited to clients’ homes, hospitals, schools, and shelters.
  • Must meet productivity/direct service requirements as assigned by program manager.
  • Participates in supervision, consultation, and training at the direction of the Program Manager.
  • Provides reports in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
  • Ensures that ethical and professional standards of practice are maintained.
  • Participates in other activities at the direction of the Program Manager.

  • Medical benefits will be effective the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Must be at least a 0.75 FTE (30 hours/week) to be eligible for medical benefits. Must be at least a 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week) to be eligible for dental, vision, Teladoc, and Life and AD&D.
