JOB REQUIREMENTS
- MUST have a State of California RNLicense
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Start Date: July or August 2023
- End Date: June 2024
- Hours Per Week: 7.5 hours per day (full-time)
- Days Per Week: 188 days per year
- Age Group/Caseload: Preschool/TK - 8th
- Job Duties: Work as a school nurse for 4 elementary school districts. Duties may include but are not limited to: IEP assessments and reports, reviewing immunizations, mandated hearing and vision screenings, staff health trainings, creating/maintaining/distributing health care plans, AED maintenance/checks, TB clearance forms, staying up-to-date with COVID-19 protocols, site time to collaborate with staff on student health issues, provides appropriate student referrals to community agencies, monitor communicable diseases at the sites and provides appropriate guidance for families and staff, generally support sites with any student health issues.
