50/50 Whiteland School Based Mental Health Therapist
Job description
50/50 therapy role: This role is an immersion of the “best of both worlds.” 50/50 or “split” therapists have the unique opportunity to work closely with the school in providing mental health services to youth that may otherwise not be able to access mental health services. This role also allows for professional development opportunities and working closely with school administrators to address needs exclusive to location.
You will work Monday - Friday, during school hours, but have the opportunity for flexible scheduling. You will work primarily out of the schools you provide services in but we will also have an office location available.
What You'll Do
- Provide a blend of clinical services while also supporting school through a leadership lens (providing education related to mental health, provide ongoing professional development to districts, opportunities to develop programs based on need of the school)
- Provide clinical services and evidence based/best treatment to assigned caseload including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, therapy, skills development and case management services
- Provide crisis intervention/emergency services by assessing risk, development of safety plans, reporting of any abuse or neglect, coordinating hospitalization or any other emergency situations
- Communicate and collaborate with collateral contacts by consulting with providers regarding integrated health, current function, medication related- issues, educations support and any other care related to client/families
- Provide both individual and family therapy
- Complete clinical documentation timely and accurately, maintaining ethical standards of Adult & Child

- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related behavioral health field
- License eligible in Indiana required
- Interested in helping students, grades pre-K through 12th, with behavioral health needs
- Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own, insured, transportation
