Job Description
The Account Manager is responsible for the complete sales process which includes prospecting, lead generation, and pricing and closing the business while benefiting and providing value to the customer’s business. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with the ability to analyze customer needs, create solutions that deliver high customer service and value, and manage the startup process after the sale. In this role, you will develop and grow new and existing business while maximizing relationships with carriers and customers utilizing personal contacts, networking, and negotiating to grow ongoing profitable business relationships.

Job Requirements:
Background Required
- Freight Brokerage Sales and Operations (1+ years)
- Customer Sales experience, with verifiable sales growth track record(1+ years)
- Pricing and Margin Integrity achieved through effective negotiation skills
- Mode of Transportation (Combination of modes. i.e. Truckload, LTL, Intermodal, Flatbed, Produce, Temperature Controlled, Specialized, Over-dimensional, HazMat, etc)
- Creating a carrier following to support your customers
- Managed KPI’s (i.e. Sales Growth, Customer Development, Profitability, Market Penetration)
- Excellent communications (i.e. verbal, written, presentation skills) and follow-up
- High energy, persistent, and result driven Team player
- Computer literate: TMS & Microsoft (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
- Freight forwarder experience a plus.
