Location: HYBRID ROLE/Plumsteadville, PA
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Specialty Gases Division is seeking an Accountant for its Financial Accounting Group who will be responsible for financial accounting processes, month end close, and the Fixed Asset procurement and monitoring.
- Perform monthly close duties as assigned
- Preparation of journal entries and financial analyses related to accruals, reserves, allocations, and a wide array of other accounting areas
- Maintain and reconcile designated balance sheet accounts
- Complete financial accounting related tasks as required and adhere to deadlines
- Monitor the overall CAPEX workflow to ensure CARs are approved and processed timely
- Gather data relating to capital expenditures, including asset utilization, internal labor capitalization requirements and status of items in CIP
- Provide and support reporting to the Management Team related to capital project budgets, actual spend and committed amounts
- CIP account analysis, research and preparation of account reconciliations
- Ensure timely capitalization of completed projects
- Assist with internal controls compliance, including the documentation, review and execution of accounting internal controls
- Support and assist external auditors’ audit processes
- Assist with special projects and other duties as needed

Are you a MATCH?
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business related field required.
- 2+ years of work experience in public accounting or a similar financial accounting role
- Good interpersonal and communication skills within all levels of the organization
- Able to work overtime as required
- Systems savvy, with experience utilizing SAP, SAP Investment Management/Project Systems (IM/PS), Trintech
- Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills, including use of Pivot tables and V-lookups
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Possess strong work commitment
- Team player and flexible with assignments
- Highly motivated and dedicated
