The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for performing various accounting functions for Lasting Change, Lifeline Youth & Family Services, Crosswinds, and any other internal entities as they are potentially added. This includes but is not limited to general ledger maintenance, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Processes invoices for counseling and other miscellaneous billings as required.
• Posts payments against the invoices in both the client management software and accounting system.
• Corresponds with patients concerning problems with payments.
• Serves as a backup processor for student tuition and other miscellaneous billings; posts payments against those invoices.
• Track and monitor grant spending to ensure reporting requirements are met.
• Updates accounts receivable aging schedules and other supporting schedules and reports
• Files paperwork, makes copies of checks, and various other clerical duties as needed.
• Works with the Accounting Manager and the Director of Finance on special projects and assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement – Associates Degree in Accounting; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, written, and communication skills
• Must be well-organized and detail-oriented
