Responsibilities:

As the Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and stability of the organization. Your responsibilities will include:

• Training and mentoring accounting staff members, fostering their professional growth
• Upholding and enforcing adherence to established accounting policies, scheduling staff meetings when necessary
• Managing staff scheduling, approving time off requests, and stepping in during staff shortages
• Monitoring and maintaining the integrity of accounting systems, swiftly addressing any issues that arise
• Preparing accurate financial statements and meticulously managing general ledgers
• Ensuring strict compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Conducting interviews and selecting top-notch accounting professionals to join the team
• Leading weekly meetings to address concerns and foster a collaborative environment
• Developing comprehensive budgets and setting clear expectations for the upcoming year
• Undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned by the Controller

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in accounting management is required
• Exceptional communication skills and a natural talent for effective team leadership
• Proven ability to motivate and inspire colleagues, cultivating a positive work environment

Compensation:

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $70,000, commensurate with experience
