Accounts Payable Clerk

$18.00 p/hour or based on experience

Rydell Auto Group is looking for an accounts payable clerk who is motivated, consistent, and detail oriented. The accounts payable clerk is responsible for vendor payments for our dealerships in Waterloo and Independence. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collect W-9’s and create new vendor accounts as needed
• Submit invoices to department managers for approval
• Post accounts payable invoices and reconcile vendor statements
• Submit payments in accordance with vendor payment terms and maximize payment discounts
• Track invoices to ensure all recurring items are posted monthly
• Record and maintain 1099 information
• Process 1099-year end forms and reports
• Submit vendor inquiries
• Assist other office staff as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with accounts payable or general office/clerical work preferred
• Experience with CDK dealer management system preferred but not necessary
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and vendors
• Ability to manage time in order to submit payments before deadlines
• Subject to background check and pre-employment drug test
• Professional personal appearance
• Valid driver's license
