Center Education Group is looking for an experienced in-person fulltime Accounts Payable Representative to work out of our Woodmere office. The ideal candidate would have extensive AP, QuickBooks and Excel knowledge.
Job Description:
The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for effectively overseeing the vendor payment process which primarily includes maintaining successful vendor relationships and managing the efficient and timely processing of invoices for payment according to established payment terms.
Key Functions:
- Responsible for all functions pertaining to accounts payable
- Assists with purchasing activity
- Assists with travel and continuing education requests & expenses
- Assists with the maintenance of financing activities
- Assists with clerical duties as needed
- Prepares weekly bank deposits
- Prepares student refund requests
- Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.
- Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.
- Records entry of, verifies documentation for, and distributes petty cash.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required
- 1 - 2 years of relevant accounts payable experience preferred
