ACCOUNTS PAYBLE SPECIALIST

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with exceptional attention to detail, a problem solver, and a collaborative team player. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with multiple entities, possess strong problem-solving skills, be innovative, and have experience in process improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner

  • Ensure all invoices are properly authorized, coded, and recorded

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

  • Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable files

  • Utilize computer skills and knowledge of shortcuts to increase efficiency in daily tasks

  • Assist in month-end closing procedures and reconciliations

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any invoice-related issues

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred

  • 2+ years of accounts payable experience

  • Computer literacy

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Experience working with multiple entities is a plus

  • Proficiency in Excel and Adobe

  • Knowledge of NetSuite and QuickBooks preferred but not necessary

Requirements:
