We are seeking a skilled and experienced Payroll and Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to process payroll and manage accounts receivable functions for the organization. The ideal candidate must have exceptional attention to detail, be organized, and have excellent communication skills. Be a part of this great team! Location: Madera area| Compensation: $20-$23| Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm|Benefits: Great Benefits Package!

If you only have Accounts Receivable or Payroll experience the company will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for all employees accurately and timely, including tax filings, deductions, and garnishments
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes to employee status
  • Reconcile payroll and related accounts, and prepare monthly and quarterly reports
  • Manage accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and cash applications
  • Ensure all customer invoices are accurate, timely, and comply with company policies
  • Communicate effectively with customers to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and assist in month-end close process
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including cash flow analysis and AR aging reports
  • Stay current on payroll and accounts receivable regulations and compliance issues, and make recommendations for process improvements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in payroll and accounts receivable roles
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance issues
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
