Job description
Admin Asst – Marketing
- Social media coordination including but not limited to campaign management, content design, and post scheduling.
- Mass communication coordination including but not limited to regular parent newsletter content creation and scheduling, staff newsletter content creation and scheduling, school wide announcements, emergency announcements.
- Create and distribute print and digital materials including but not limited to brochures, banners, campus signage, promotional materials, school planners, digital ads, and presentations.
- Monitor registration and enrollment numbers, and collaborate with campus leadership to develop and implement marketing plans to ensure seats are filled.
- Collaborate with other staff to plan and execute school events.
- Auxiliary photography for events, day-to-day school happenings, staff portraits, class portraits, and make-up student portraits
- Regular lunch/recess support
- Teacher/staff support
- Regular response to teacher calls for assistance.
As needed, support other office staff tasks including greeting of guests, first aid, answering phones, and general inquiry emails, tour support and guiding, office management, and errand-running on- and off-campus.

Ascent Classical Academies is currently hiring administrative assistants for its new campus opening in August 2023 and serving grades K through 8. Ascent Classical Academies are dedicated to the intellectual and moral betterment of students and encourage teachers to take their own moral and intellectual improvement seriously as part of a supportive and excellence-driven culture.
The Administrative Assistant serves a highly visible and important role in the school, serving as a liaison with students, families, and staff and helping to ensure the school runs smoothly in virtually all its aspects. The Administrative Assistant has superior organizational and communication skills necessary to cover daily tasks and operate the front office. While reporting to the headmaster, he or she must work closely with and take direction from office staff to fulfill an array of responsibilities as needed.

Schedule: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $18 - $22/hour for full-time, highly dependent on experience and qualifications
