:


The Admission Officer will work for the Admissions office, focusing on international marketing, especially China. He / She will also work as a Resident assistant as a full time live-in professional staff member. This person will report to the Assistant Head of School for Student Services for the Admissions role and the Director of Residential Life for their RA role.


Major Duties and Responsibilities
:


Admission Officer Position
will work with the admissions office, focusing on the China and International marketing, as well as assisting in the office with clerical work. Work in this areas will include, but not limited to:


  • Responding to initial inquiries from prospective students
  • Achieve recruitment goals through direct contact with students and parents
  • Support effective relationship management, including managing existing agent accounts and developing potential new representatives
  • Collaborate with other colleagues on Admissions and Marketing throughout the student recruitment cycle.
  • Schedule campus tours for prospective students and families and assist in conducting them when needed
  • Monitor and collect missing forms for both admissions by contacting student families and guardians
  • Uploading materials to campus portals for tracking all admissions paperwork


Resident Assistant
: Resident Assistants live in as professional staff members who help in the running of the dormitories. The Resident Assistant also serves as a facilitator to encourage a cooperative and considerate group living environment. The RA is expected to help build a feeling of togetherness and community by initiating and helping to organize floor and hall activities and programs. The RA serves as a resource for information about the campus and residence halls. Most of all, the RA is expected to be an individual who cares about people and attempts to make the residence hall a valuable place to live.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in English and Chinese
  • A bachelor's or master's degree from an American university is preferred
  • Experience in educational recruiting and school admission is preferred
  • Good understanding of recruiting and marketing processes in international education
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, including attending international educational events, hosting live webinars
