Adult Partial Hospital Therapist (no weekends!)
Job description
Onward Behavioral Health (OBH) is looking for candidates to help provide quality care to our clients. We are looking for passionate and dedicated people who are looking to making a difference in people’s lives. OBH has an extensive history of providing high-quality outpatient treatment in Eastern Pennsylvania through its subsidiary programs: Rehab After Work, The Light Program, and Seeds of Hope. OBH is an invaluable resource to adults and teens suffering from substance use, mental health, and/or eating disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares materials for facilitating sessions and or groups.
- Completes level-of-care assessments as needed and required by program lead.
- Maintains client files according to program standards.
- Initiates and develops treatment planning goals through contact with clients, family, colleagues and other staff.
- Scheduled for 40 hours per week as needed by the program.
- Attends trainings, staff meetings and supervision as needed and according to program standards.
- Maintains safe, orderly and ethically appropriate therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention.
- Other duties as deemed necessary.
Education/Experience Required:
A Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services field) or other related field.
