Baptist Health is looking for a PRN Employee Health Services Advanced Practice Provider to join our team to provide coverage in New Albany, IN and

Louisville and Elizabethtown, KY

The APRN/PA will provide advanced practice clinical services to healthcare personnel (HCP) eligible for services through the Baptist Health Employee Health Services (EHS) Program through a combination of in-clinic and limited remote support. This position will include assignments at multiple Employee Health clinic locations and may include travel from one to the other during a single shift.

Services include education, performing occupational physical exams, providing OSHA medical clearance evaluations, evaluation of acute illnesses and workplace exposures to infectious illnesses, contact studies, testing, and/or treatment, record keeping and reporting of multiple health surveillance and infectious diseases. May include telephonic evaluations with referrals for other services as needed.

Will follow organizational policy, federal and state regulations, and infectious disease guidelines regarding treatment and clearance to work and return to work following acute illness of healthcare personnel. Works with Employee Health and organizational leaders to ensure all applicable requirements are met and required reporting completed.

Creates a positive, supportive, collaborative work environment for EHS team, organizational leadership, and HCP served through the program. Promotes company initiatives, support timely compliance, associated documentation and/or reporting, and to ensure continuity of care for HCP throughout the organization.

Qualifications

§ Current advance practice licensing for the states of Indiana and Kentucky as required for each specialty (i.e., APRN/ ARNP / PA) required, including active RN license for APRN / ARNP.

§ Current certification through accredited certification program.

o APRN / ARNP – AANP or ANCC

o Physician Assistant’s - NCCPA

§ Current basic life support certification required.

§ Minimum of 2-3 years advanced practice clinical experience required.

§ Experience with OSHA as well as state and federal guidelines preferred.

§ Employee Health, Occupational Medicine, Workers Compensation, Safety, Wellness, and Acute Care knowledge and experience preferred.
