Looking for a dynamic Adventure Camp Supervisor to join our team! As a key member of our Adventure Camp staff, you will assist the Camp Director in daily operations, supervise a small team of Camp Counselors, and care for children aged 5 to 12 years old. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring safe play conditions, assigning daily tasks, planning educational schedules, and preparing fun activities that promote children's growth. Responsibilities:

- Assisting in the management of day-to-day operations
- Help plan daily educational schedules
- Work collaboratively with team members on daily activities, etc.
- Ensuring safe play conditions
- Assign daily tasks and roles to team members
- Prepare activities, which stimulate children and provide opportunities for gross skills, cognitive skills, and emotional/social growth.
- Welcome children to the camp. Take the child’s temperature and sign in.
- Assist in marking all children's belongings as needed.
- Participating in recreational activities such as games, running, crafts, etc.
- Enforce all camp safety and emergency procedures
- Handle questions, problems, and concerns of parents/guardians when Director is not available
- Observe the peer culture to see if there are any problems and communicate with Director about implementing solutions
- Monitors and ensures appropriate child behavior and adherence to camp rules and regulations
- Guide campers through behavioral situations and ask for help if needed
- Provide a fun and safe environment for the campers
- Supervise Camp Counselors
- Early childhood education is not required, however, preferred
- Previous childcare experience required. Preferably 3+ years
- Willing to assist in lesson planning and curriculum building
- Works well with children and displays patience
- Complete CPR, First Aid Training. Training provided if necessary
- Must be willing to work a majority of the 9-week program and 10+ hour days.
