Job description
In summary this position is to support and assist Mechanics in the Engine Shop. This includes but is not limited to:
1. Assist welder with prepping engine parts to weld and grinding welds
2. Be proficient in reading precision measuring tools.
3. Perform machining and repair processes to engine components.
4. Perform any other tasks such as building maintenance, janitorial duties, etc. as needed.
Must be able to multi-task, respect / maintain confidentiality, be service oriented, be trustworthy/ethical, and be sensitive/respectful of diverse populations/cultures. Must work at a fast pace and handle stress and problematic issues well with a good attitude.
Experience and Skills:
A High School Diploma or GED. Must be available full-time and work overtime when required.
