Animal Care/Kennel Supervisor
Job description
Animal Care/Kennel Supervisor FT with benefits. Rotating shifts 7am - 3 pm, 12-8 pm evenings. Some weekend and holiday shifts will be necessary. Busy Loudoun County Veterinary Hospital seeks Mature individual for oversight of younger staff and 25-35 dogs in daycare and or boarding, some cats, some exotics (birds, bunnies, etc..).
You should be reliable, a team leader, so a good communicator, desire neatness, order, and care about animal husbandry; knowledge of medical care, diabetics, etc.. a plus. Pay scale, depending on candidate qualifications, range 16- 19$/hour. FT includes medical benefits. You are also provided with two on line platforms to learn more about the veterinary industry with the opportunity to become a Certified Veterinary Assistant and more.
